While Icefilms gets things figured out after Megauploads ridiculous shutdown, try channel1 (also known as letmewatchthis). It works just like icefilms did. The XBMC plugin was just released so they are still working out some bugs, but it works better than icefilms does right now. Two big benefits are PAUSING and BUFFERING. They both work unlike icefilms. Some videos do load a little slower here than they did with megaupload so a little more patience will be required.
From what i have read and from my experience, Putlocker, shockshare, and novamov links seem to be the best. Installation Download and install the 1Channel repository. It will automatically update for you when a new version is available. SSH the downloaded zip file to /var/mobile/ 2. Go to System Settings Add-ons “Install From ZIP” select the repo zip. Once that’s done, make sure restart XBMC. Navigate to System Settings Add-ons “Get Add-ons” “Bstrdmkr's Repository” Video Add-Ons 1Channel Plugin to install the plugin.
You add this repos to XBMC by downloading each zip file, then go into addons and choose 'Add from ZIP'. Please feel free to PM me with info on Passion-XBMC Repository Download your SVN skins and addons TvTunes Addon Download Play your theme while browsing library TVshow Next.
Once it is enabled it can be found in Video Add-ons.Eden Beta or higher is required. Why a repository? Updates can be pushed out easily, with the user being notified in XBMC when there are new updates.
Buffering problems? If you have buffering issues you can mess with your advanced settings.xml. I have a basic one here which simply specified unlimited cache. Note that XBMC will use 3 times the amount of RAM as the size of the file.
For example, if you have buffered 100% of a 1gb file, it will take up 3gb RAM. If you have a limited amount of RAM, you may need to set cachemembuffer according to how much RAM you can afford. If all of the above doesn't work, try a different source. (right click and save file) For ApplyTV ssh to: /private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/XBMC/userdata For Mac OS X: /Users/ /Library/Application Support/XBMC/userdata/ For Windows XP: Documents and Settings%userprofile% Application Data XBMC userdata For Vista/Windows 7: Users%userprofile% AppData Roaming XBMC userdata For Linux: $HOME/.xbmc/userdata/.If you've tried all the above, it's a connection problem either at your end or the hosts and there's nothing that can be done to help.
No episodes showing under a TV Show Season? If you are using the Aeon NOX skin, the default view List displays meta data tags (which 1Channel does not currently set) as the title, instead of the title it's asked to display. It you see '.' Listed as the title of all episodes, switching to a different view should solve the problem. It is also possible that the onechannel database has become corrupt.
Deleting the file onechannel.db from your xbmc/database folder should fix the problem 3. You're most likely missing the script.common.plugin.cache dependency. Open your addons folder and make sure that its there. If not, download it from the main link above and install it using 'Install from zip', then restart XBMC. It is also possible that the common cache database has become corrupt. Deleting the file commoncache.db from your xbmc/database folder should fix the problem Script Errors / Missing Dependencies? You're most likely missing the elementtree or urlresolver dependencies.
Open your addons folder and make sure that they're there. If not, download them from and install it using 'Install from zip', then restart XBMC. Still have problems?
This contains ALL information you will need to re-install everything from scratch to make it work! Delete these directories from the addons folder: (if using a atv2 or iPad2 ssh to it or use XBMC file manager) 1. The Bstrdsmkr repository. The Eldorado repository. The 1channel plug-in. The t0mm0.common module.
The urlresolver module. All the files in the 'packages' sub directory. Userdata database onechannelcache.db file.
Userdata database addons.db file. Means the parent directory. If you are on an ATV2 there might be a chance you did all this while XBMC was running so it's a good idea to reboot your device now to make sure XBMC will register what you have done before the next final step. Download and install by zip file then install 1Channel.
Addon folder locations: ATV2: /private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/XBMC/addons/ iPad2: /var/mobile/Library/Preferences/XBMC/addons/ Linux: /.xbmc/addons/ On Mac:/Library/Application Support/XBMC/addons/ (Use Go to Folder from the menu as folder is hidden) Windows 7: C: Users AppData Roaming XBMC addons Ill update with more info as i come across it. What's this file for? We're do I put it in? You use this file to change the cache size. It helps if you have buffering issues. It is currently set to 0 so unlimited cache.
If you have buffering problems like icefilms did where it would rebuffed every 10 seconds you can change the cache size to a set limit. For ApplyTV ssh to: /private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/XBMC/userdata For Mac: browse to Applications, right click on XBMC, select Show Package Contents, then open the folders contents, Resources, XBMC, userdata.
